বিকালে ছাদের উপর আড্ডা মারা ঢাকা শহরের সব চেয়ে বড় বিনোদন। ঢাকায় বসবাস করা সবাই এই বিনোদন করে থাকে। বাড়ির সবাই বিকালে উঠে দূর দুরান্ত দেখা আর হাত নেড়ে নেড়ে কথা বলা। এছাড়া আর কোন উপায় নেই। ঢাকা শহরে মানুষ এত বেশি যে খালি জায়গা খোজে পাওয়া মুশকিল। আমার একমাত্র আপু নিলার প্রতিদিন অভ্যাস হল ছাদে যাওয়া। নিলা আপুর আরো দুই বান্ধবী আছে বিকাল হলেই চলে আসবে। ছোট ছোট করে কথা বলবে আর হাসতে হাসতে লুটিয়ে পরবে। আমি মাঝে মাঝে ছাদে যাই। ছাদে আমার একটা রোম আছে। সেটাকে স্টুডিও বলা চলে। ক্যামেরা, লাইট, কম্পিউটার দিয়ে সাজানো। সুন্দর করে ডেকূরেশন করা। লেখাপড়ার চাপ থাকলে আমি নিরবে এখানেই পড়ি। আপু সবে মাত্র অনার্স কম্পলিট করেছে। আমি আকাশ একটি প্রাইভেট ইউনিতে আইটি নিয়ে লেখাপড়া করছি। আজ বিকালে ছাদে আপুকে একা দেখে মনে হল মন ভীষণ খারাপ। আমি কাছে গিয়ে জিজ্ঞেস করি আপু মন খারাপ নাকি? চুপচাপ দাড়িয়ে আছ। জিজ্ঞেস আর সবাই কোথায়? আপু আমার দিকে চেয়ে কিছু বলতে চায় না। শুধু বলে না মন খারাপ না। আমি কথা না বাড়িয়ে শুধু বলি, তোমার মন কিন্তু খারাপ। ইচ্ছা না হলে বলার দরকার নাই। আমি আমার স্টুডিওতে চলে যাই এবং সিগারেট টানতে থাকি। আপু ...
